DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build automation tools to provision environments and applications to support our development, staging, and production environments. The focus will be on improving deployments using docker and related technologies.
• Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous delivery
• Work to continuously improve speed, efficiency and scalability of software delivery
• Automate wherever feasible

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience
• 2-3 years of experience using Puppet or Chef
• Exposure to Docker
• 5+ years of strong Linux administration experience
• Experience with Provisioning Automation
• Experience working with Linux Containers
• Experience supporting Platform as a Service (PAAS)
• Experience with Java build tools such as Maven and Gradle
• Experience with development/deployment on a RHEL platform.
• Familiarity with J2EE-stack application servers (i.e. Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat)
• BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
