QA Automation Lead/Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Work with multiple client engagement(s) to provide QA Strategy/Implementation
• Provide guidelines and recommendations on different tools and technologies
• Assign/Coordinate work of a team of Automation Engineers in a distributed team environment
• Lead a team of engineers on evaluating new tools and automation technologies along with evaluation report
• Responsible for conducting various training on technology aspects to keep the team members up to date
• Lead QA strategy engagements to provide the blueprint for the QA Automation and Regression Strategy
• Conduct periodic project review and provide feedbacks
• Ability to lead customer executive teams through structured test architecture

Required Skills

• At least 5 Years of experience in software development or writing complex test automation for enterprise applications
• Strong Test automation experience (5 plus years) with Web Services Testing, custom test tool, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber.
• Strong Programming and SW design skills in Java, C# and other OO language is required
• Web services test automation in Java, HTTP Client, RESTAssured, JAXB, SOAP, RESTful Service, XML & JSON
• Object oriented Programming concept with strong Programming skill Experience in Java or C++
• Experience in working with NoSQL system and any RDBMS systems
• Experience leading and implementing Automation Strategy
• Strong knowledge of build/deployment automation and continuous integration highly desirable.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

Non Technical Skills

• Strong analytical skills, QA bend of mind, capable of breaking robust software
• Can do attitude; yet challenges status quo
• Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic
• Work with multiple client engagement(s) to provide QA Strategy/Implementation
