We're growing rapidly and looking for a Compleat Developer to join our Process Engineering team. This is a hands-on development role supporting our mid-office automation and integration ecosystem — a great opportunity to build real skills on a modern travel tech stack while making an immediate impact on the business.

As Compleat Developer, you'll support the build-out and day-to-day health of Blockskye's mid-office automation, configuring and maintaining the Compleat platform, writing and updating Booking Builder Genie scripts, and keeping data flowing cleanly between the GDS, mid-office, and downstream systems.

You'll report to the Senior Process Engineer, Compleat, who will provide hands-on guidance and code review as you grow into ownership of specific workflows over time.

Responsibilities

Compleat Mid-Office Development

• Configure and maintain the Blockskye node within the existing Compleat tree structure, in coordination with the Senior Process Engineer.
• Build and update automation flows for ticketing, queue management, invoicing, and reporting.
• Test changes across GDS environments before release and document what was built.

Booking Builder Genie Scripting

• Write and maintain Genie scripts that automate agent tasks and enforce policy.
• Work with operations teams to replace manual actions with scripted workflows.
• Connect Genie logic to Compleat workflows where needed.

Integrations Support

• Assist with API and web services integrations to third-party platforms (OBT, reporting, expense, duty of care).
• Work with standard data formats including XML, JSON, and EDIFACT.
• Help troubleshoot integration and data flow issues alongside the senior team.

Monitoring & Support

• Monitor queues, runtime errors, and reconciliation output; triage issues and fix or escalate as appropriate.
• Contribute to error-handling improvements and maintain runbooks for recurring issues.
• Participate in code and configuration reviews to build good habits early.

• Automation flows and scripts delivered on time and working as specified.
• Reduction in errors and rework within the workflows you own.
• Clear documentation for everything you build.
• Growing independence across Compleat and Genie over your first year.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in travel technology, TMC operations, or software development (internships and co-ops count).
• Hands-on exposure to Compleat.
• Familiarity with at least one GDS (Amadeus preferred, Sabre, or Travelport).
• Working knowledge of a programming or scripting language (C#, .NET, Java, Python, or similar).
• Basic understanding of web services and data formats (REST/SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Curiosity and strong attention to detail; comfortable asking questions and taking feedback.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to Booking Builder Genie scripting.
• Awareness of NDC and industry distribution standards.
• Familiarity with PCI or GDPR basics.
