This position leverages a combination of ad hoc and systems data, as well as, creating new data across large, fragmented global sources to support quality management system improvements, metric reporting / analysis, and must enjoy turning data patterns into actionable intelligence for Quality teams to use. You will be responsible for building tools to consolidate, analyze, and drive strategic decision making across the business unit. You will work with many stakeholders to understand the data, identify appropriate solutions, and execute systemic improvements.
How you will do it
- Build, maintain, automate, and/or publish reports, scorecards, and dashboards that align with tactical and strategic priorities to support business and quality objectives.
- Design and develop digital solutions that transform complex data in to clear insights into major quality metrics such as Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), internal/external parts per million defective (PPM), complaint or audit corrective action responsiveness.
- Communicate with technical teams to identify data tables and schemas needed for analysis. An understanding of ERPs and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS) is necessary to determine how to prepare and blend data from different systems.
- Assess current state reporting and identify and drive process improvement opportunities with digital solutions (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Sharepoint, etc.) to increase operational efficiency and responsiveness.
- Utilize business intelligence tools, including Microsoft CoPilot, and visualization techniques to identify complex trends or patterns, communicate findings, and accelerate support solution identification for continuous improvement for global quality leaders.
- Manage data projects by creating project plans, tracking progress, and communicating project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support data governance initiatives by helping maintain metric consistency, data quality, and reporting accuracy. Identify and escalate data integrity issues and recommend improvements.
- Partner with global stakeholders to support alignment of reporting definitions, metrics, and adoption of standardized reporting processes.
- Work with Corporate data teams to improve overall systems and share best practices.
What we look for…
Required
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- BS in Computer Data Science/Applications, Mathematics/Statistics, or has a degree and demonstrated technical abilities in similar areas
- 3+ years experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Exceptional MS 0365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot)
- Experience working with multiple data sources including databases, Excel files, SharePoint Lists, and other business systems.
- Experience using SQL, Power Query, and data transformation techniques to extract, prepare, and blend data from multiple sources to support problem solving.
- Experience building reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Visualization software (PowerBI)
- Experience using Microsoft applications such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Lists, etc.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights through clear visualizations, presentations, and business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and possess a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong time management and organization skills to work effectively in a high matrix organization.
- Highly customer-focused and able to manage conflicting priorities.
Preferred
- Master’s degree or advanced courses (Computer/Data Science, Data Analysis)
- Advanced Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dashboard development, and report deployment. Knowledge and use of Python, R, or other analytical scripting languages.
- Experience in Quality demonstrating knowledge of QMS, CAPA, audits, complaints, nonconformance, and quality performance metrics.
- Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) or Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA)
- Six Sigma Certification Green (SSGB)
Travel Expectation
- 10% - mainly WI or TX to understand processes and data sources
SALARY RANGE
Total Base Pay Range $85,200.00 - 127,800.00 USD (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
