As a NAVWAR Analyst (RF Data Analyst) supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will contribute to enhancing the Department of Defense's understanding of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) vulnerabilities and threats. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico — the DoD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration — you will develop critical NAVWAR insights that support operational readiness and strategic decision-making across multiple defense agencies and coalition partners.
You will leverage advanced analysis software to process and interpret RF data collected from field events and military exercises, providing actionable insights. Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains. You will collaborate with engineering teams to gather analysis and data requirements during the planning phase, develop test plans to characterize and assess navigation hardware performance, and handle requests to identify potential RF interference that could impact space launches — ensuring thorough analysis and timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop critical NAVWAR insights that enhance DoD understanding of PNT vulnerabilities and threats, supporting operational readiness and strategic decision-making across defense agencies and coalition partners.
- Develop and script data processing workflows to create and maintain dashboards and reports, delivering key insights to internal and external DoD stakeholders.
