Join Our Team as a Senior Full Stack & Cloud Platform Engineer!

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of cloud-hosted platforms? We are looking for a dynamic engineer to join our team remotely from Florida and contribute to the development and productization of NextBrain Off-Prem. This is your opportunity to design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications and establish the AWS architecture and engineering standards that will drive our enterprise platform forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack capabilities for the NextBrain cloud platform.
• Define and evolve the AWS architecture supporting NextBrain applications and services.
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices for various NextBrain tools and services.
• Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Enhance application reliability, scalability, performance, and resilience.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI/ML teams to operationalize data and AI services.
• Establish technical standards and engineering best practices for the platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or modern backend technologies.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Extensive hands-on AWS experience, including services like ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and more.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native application architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Strong understanding of application security and identity management.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.

Preferences

• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing enterprise SSO using OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.
• Experience with AI/ML or LLM-enabled applications.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or reusable application frameworks.
• Experience with industrial, energy, IoT, SCADA, or operational technology environments.
