Responsibilities

  • Stream and process mainframe source data into AWS S3
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue
  • Provision clean data through AWS Aurora/RDS PostgreSQL
  • Manage S3 storage, retention, archival, and lifecycle
  • Automate deployments with GitHub Actions and CI/CD
  • Leverage AI tools to improve engineering productivity

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional Data Engineering experience
  • Production experience with AWS S3, Glue, and RDS/Aurora
  • Experience building real-time streaming pipelines with Kafka
  • Strong background in data reconciliation and validation
  • Experience with AWS RDS or Aurora PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD

Preferred

  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with mainframe or legacy system data integration
