Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong experience in the Java ecosystem, Spring Boot, and front-end development. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of JVM internals, REST API development, and CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful web services following microservices architecture.
• Apply deep knowledge of the JVM, including memory management and performance tuning.
• Implement security layers using Spring Security and industry best practices.
• Write efficient, clean, and reusable code following established code review practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate JavaScript/jQuery components; exposure to React is a plus.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
• Strong understanding of JVM architecture, garbage collection, and performance optimization
• Experience with Spring Security, authentication/authorization flows
• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery; basic understanding of React is a bonus
• Familiar with caching frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible
• Solid understanding of Git, branching, and version control best practices
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure coding practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
