Inspector - Electrical (Site)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Electrical to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive electrical inspections on construction and industrial sites, ensuring full compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety and quality across all project phases.

• Conduct thorough electrical inspections on construction and industrial sites, examining wiring, equipment, systems, and installations for compliance and safety
• Verify adherence to electrical codes, standards (including IEC and UAE electrical regulations), and project specifications
• Identify electrical hazards, deficiencies, and non-compliance issues and document findings in detailed inspection reports
• Test electrical systems and equipment using appropriate tools and methodologies to ensure proper functionality and safety
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations to project managers, contractors, and relevant stakeholders
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all inspections, test results, and documentation
• Ensure that corrective actions are implemented and verified before project sign-off
• Collaborate with site teams to promote electrical safety awareness and compliance with safety protocols
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports that clearly outline findings, recommendations, and required remedial actions
• Stay current with changes in electrical codes, standards, and best practices relevant to the UAE market
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical inspection, testing, or quality assurance in construction or industrial environments
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, UAE electrical standards, and local regulations)
• Proficiency in identifying electrical hazards and assessing compliance with safety regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and inspection tools
