Responsibilities

  • Own AppraisalPRO end-to-end (backend, frontend, app)
  • Take a leading role in shaping product and platform
  • Carry features from idea to production
  • Build and maintain AppraisalPRO across the stack
  • Own key architectural decisions
  • Set technical direction
  • Contribute to the API and SDK for developer platform
  • Collaborate with customers to understand needs
  • Translate customer needs into features
  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain features
  • Work closely with product to deliver features
  • Provide feedback on feasibility and timelines
  • Write and maintain reliable Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript code
  • Create integrations with third-party APIs and services

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production web applications with Ruby on Rails
  • 5+ years building production web applications with RSpec
  • JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience
  • PostgreSQL experience
  • Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools to work efficiently

Preferred

  • React Native or mobile development experience
  • Exposure to GraphQL
  • B2B SaaS product experience
  • Ability to ask the right questions about complicated tasks
