Software Engineer - Java, React & GCP

FCSD provides comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and service capabilities for electrified, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles worldwide.

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of cloud-based applications that enable critical customer and dealer experiences. You will work closely with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that create business value and drive innovation.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, React, and GCP.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and web-based applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
• Ensure software quality through testing and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of business-critical software solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience developing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
