Responsibilities

  • Analyze state insurance requirements and configuration needs
  • Manage and support SQL databases for product configuration
  • Use SQL to transform, validate, and prepare data
  • Develop standards and repeatable processes for product rollouts
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support product implementation
  • Streamline deployment workflows and improve efficiency
  • Manage multiple priorities and keep stakeholders informed
  • Support production implementation and ensure regulatory alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or related
  • 5+ years analytical experience (3 with Master's, 1 with PhD)
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and data management
  • Experience with databases including cloud-based environments
  • Data analysis using statistical or data mining methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables

Preferred

  • Insurance industry experience with rating products or pricing
  • Knowledge of insurance rating principles
  • Experience with SAS SQL
  • Experience with R or Python
  • Knowledge of claims, underwriting, or marketing processes
  • Experience with process control or project management
