Responsibilities
- Serve as focal point of contact for customers on quality-related matters with minimal supervision.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Lead customer audits preparation, coordination, and follow-up on audit findings.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation; ensure timely closure and effectiveness verification.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Control Plan, Inspection Reports, FAI, PPAP documents where applicable).
- Monitor quality performance metrics and drive improvement actions based on data analysis.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to QA Technicians on inspection methods and quality requirements.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI), including pretest, first article inspection, and buyoff.
- Support QMS implementation, audit compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle internal non-conformance and support MRB activities.
- Ensure compliance to ISO standards, safety practices, SOP, and company policies.
- Mentor and coach E1 on quality standards and documentation best practices.
Requirement
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or equivalent.
- 0–8 years in manufacturing/quality environment.
- Good understanding of inspection methods, GD&T interpretation, measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, height gauge), problem-solving tools (8D, 5Why), and quality documentation.
