Responsibilities

  • Own and improve core system infrastructure
  • Evolve token workflows and theming strategies
  • Reduce system drift by strengthening design-to-code feedback loops
  • Contribute to component implementations with maintainable patterns
  • Build internal tools for faster delivery
  • Model system guidance in structured, reusable formats
  • Instrument and iterate on adoption and quality

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience shipping and maintaining a design system
  • Portfolio demonstrating design systems mastery
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern front-end framework (React or similar)
  • Proven experience delivering internal tools (e.g., Figma plugins, scripts, CLIs, CI automations)
  • Fluency in Figma at a systems level
  • Strong understanding of design tokens and theming
  • Demonstrated ability to reason about component UX and establish accessibility defaults

Preferred

  • Experience developing and shipping Figma plugins
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding environments
  • Familiarity with token pipelines and tooling
  • Experience with Storybook and docs/playground infrastructure
  • Experience with visual regression testing and UI QA automation
