Lead Architect

Provide end-to-end architecture leadership for Heathrow’s Corporate Applications domain, with a primary focus on Oracle-based platforms. Own the domain architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards and design governance, ensuring alignment to Heathrow’s Technology strategy, enterprise architecture principles and business priorities.

Provide specialist architectural expertise and leadership across technology, business stakeholders, delivery teams, third-party suppliers and support partners, ensuring solutions are coherent, fit for purpose, secure, cost-effective and capable of supporting long-term business outcomes.

• Defining and maintaining the architecture roadmap for corporate platforms, aligned to Heathrow’s enterprise strategy and principles.
• Leading design governance for transformative initiatives, providing solutions that balance innovation with compliance and risk management.
• Collaborating with C-level stakeholders and technology teams to translate Heathrow’s strategic goals into executable architecture plans.
• Driving integration and interoperability across Oracle ERP and related corporate applications to streamline processes and deliver business value.
• Identifying and embedding emerging technologies to improve resilience, cost-efficiency, and security standards across corporate domains.
• Mentoring and guiding delivery teams to uphold enterprise architecture practices throughout change programmes.
• Proven experience as a domain or lead architect within large, complex organisations.
• Deep knowledge of architecture for corporate systems, including finance, HR, and procurement domains.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Oracle ERP platforms and their enterprise integration.
• Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks, governance, and compliance processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, able to influence senior executives and manage cross-functional priorities.
• Track record of delivering architecture strategies that drive operational excellence and transformation.
