Job Description
Manager, Analytics
Do you enjoy turning complex data into clear business insights? Are you energized by helping organizations answer critical questions, measure impact, and make smarter decisions through analytics and intelligence?
As a Manager, Analytics at Zeno, you will lead analytics, measurement, and intelligence programs that help clients understand performance, uncover opportunities, and demonstrate business impact. Working closely with clients, account teams, analytics leaders, and external partners, you will develop measurement strategies, guide reporting initiatives, and translate data into actionable recommendations that inform communications and marketing decisions.
This role is ideal for a strategic and analytically minded professional who enjoys balancing data analysis, client consultation, and team leadership. You'll have the opportunity to lead high-impact analytics programs, contribute to business growth, mentor junior team members, and help advance innovative measurement approaches across a variety of clients and industries.
About the Role
- Analytics Strategy & Measurement Frameworks: Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives, develop measurement strategies, define KPIs, and establish frameworks that evaluate communications and marketing performance.
- Reporting & Insight Development: Lead monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting initiatives, transforming complex qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Client Consulting & Data Storytelling: Guide analytics discovery conversations, communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences, and present insights in a way that supports business decision-making, including executive and C-suite stakeholders.
- Analytics Operations & Innovation: Continuously improve reporting methodologies, measurement approaches, and analytics capabilities to better answer client business questions and enhance program effectiveness.
- New Business & Growth Support: Contribute to new business opportunities by supporting analytics-driven audits, research projects, measurement planning, and data analysis that demonstrate strategic value to prospective clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated analytics solutions and best-in-class client service.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage analytics projects from initiation through delivery while mentoring junior team members and helping advance analytical best practices across the team.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, reporting, marketing analytics, communications analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting digital, paid media, public relations, or integrated communications measurement programs.
- Experience developing measurement frameworks, analyzing performance data, and translating findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with both qualitative and quantitative datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with analytics, business intelligence, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI, SQL, R, SAS, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics and intelligence platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Muck Rack, Meltwater, NewsWhip, Brandwatch, Helixa, Traackr, BuzzSumo, Quid, Similarweb, or comparable tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and data findings to a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of data quality and accuracy.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and building strong client relationships.
- Curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a passion for using data to answer business questions and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B and consumer marketing analytics.
- Experience supporting new business initiatives, competitive audits, or analytics-based growth opportunities.
- Experience mentoring analysts or contributing to team development initiatives.
- Interest in emerging analytics technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and evolving measurement methodologies.
Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000 USD/yr.
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
