Senior Software Engineer - Marketplace Technology, EMEA

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As a Senior Software Engineer within our Marketplace Technology EMEA team you will work as part of an engineering squad partnering across technology and business functions.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, product leaders, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver solutions that span multiple systems, technologies, and business processes.

The team is responsible for building and scaling solutions in areas where engineering investment can unlock significant business value.

You will join a team of engineers who embrace collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence. We value curiosity, ownership, and a pragmatic approach to delivering business outcomes through technology.

You will report into engineering leadership while providing technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers across the team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are particularly hiring engineers who have experience working across multiple systems and technologies, designing end-to-end solutions, and leveraging modern AI capabilities both in software development practices and in business-facing solutions.

Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, systems thinking, and the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business domains, technologies, and organizational challenges.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with Full stack development experience .
• Experience designing and delivering complex software solutions across multiple systems, platforms, and business domains
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, system integrations, and end-to-end business process flows
• Experience with API-first architecture and service-oriented design principles
• Strong Understanding of cloud-native development using AWS, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, workflows, and business processes
• Familiarity with AI orchestration patterns, agent-based solutions, and modern AI development frameworks
• Uses AI-assisted engineering tools as a core part of the software development lifecycle to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, enhance decision-making, and drive engineering productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver outcomes in rapidly changing environments.
• Possesses a founder's mindset, proactively identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and driving outcomes rather than operating as an order taker. Demonstrates ownership, curiosity, and the ability to influence direction across both business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will help lead the design and implementation of solutions that improve how the business operates and how technology systems interact. You will work on a diverse portfolio of initiatives which may include:

• Drive the design and delivery of integrations between enterprise platforms, SaaS applications, and internally developed systems
• Designing and implementing automated business processes and workflows
• Developing APIs, services, and event-driven solutions that enable data and process connectivity
• Identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort through engineering and automation
• Applying AI technologies to enhance business processes, decision support, and operational efficiency
• Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending solutions to address evolving business needs
• Driving engineering best practices through technical reviews, mentoring, and promoting high-quality software design and implementation
