Lead SAP Solutions Analyst

NatureWorks is seeking an experienced Lead SAP Solutions Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a seasoned SAP professional who can work independently across multiple SAP modules and partner directly with leaders throughout Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and other areas of the business.

The Lead SAP Solutions Analyst will serve as a key SAP subject-matter expert, translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions and helping drive process improvements across the organization. This role reports to the Director of IT.

Jointly owned by Cargill and PTT Global Chemical (GC), NatureWorks operates globally with its corporate office and R&D facility in Plymouth, Minnesota, a U.S. manufacturing facility in Blair, Nebraska, and a newly opened manufacturing facility in Thailand.

What You'll Do

  • Lead configuration, design, enhancement, and support across SAP FI, SD, MM, WM, PM, and PP
  • Serve as a primary SAP resource for business stakeholders across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and maintenance
  • Analyze complex business processes and design integrated solutions spanning multiple SAP modules
  • Lead SAP projects through requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, implementation, and post-go-live support
  • Partner with business leaders on process redesign, change management, communications, training, and user adoption
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Provide SAP functional and technical guidance to junior analysts and cross-functional project teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through system enhancements, integrations, and emerging SAP capabilities
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, and training materials
  • Support integrations between SAP and adjacent systems, including Salesforce and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Help evaluate and support future SAP capabilities, including S/4HANA and Fiori

What We're Looking For

  • 15+ years of hands-on SAP configuration and functional analysis experience
  • Demonstrated configuration and support expertise across multiple SAP modules, specifically FI, SD, MM, WM, PM, and PP
  • Experience leading full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, or rollouts
  • Strong understanding of integrated, cross-module SAP business processes
  • Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex SAP issues
  • Experience leading change management associated with SAP or other ERP-driven process changes
  • Strong project leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams, operational users, and senior business leaders
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Occasional travel to manufacturing plant locations

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary

$165,000–$175,000

Bonus Opportunity

15% annual incentive
