Design and implement enterprise data models and semantic layers for analytics
Implement data catalog, lineage, and classification frameworks for CEII and confidential data
Build and evolve data pipelines on cloud data platforms
Contribute to API and data-sharing patterns for secure exchange
Build and productize generative AI solutions including RAG pipelines and LLM integrations
Implement and operate MLOps and LLMOps practices
Maintain AI platform components including vector stores and model serving infrastructure
Prototype AI use cases to validate architecture decisions
Implement AI governance guardrails aligned with NIST AI RMF
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory frameworks and internal controls
Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Evaluate tools and vendors for build-vs-buy recommendations

7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or ML/AI engineering
Expert-level SQL and Python
Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
Experience with modern warehouse or Lakehouse architectures
Experience with transformation frameworks such as Azure Data Factory
Practical generative AI experience including RAG, embeddings, and vector stores
At least one AI capability shipped to production
Working knowledge of MLOps/LLMOps practices and tooling
Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality tooling

Experience in regulated industries, energy, utilities, or reliability organizations
Familiarity with NIST AI RMF or similar risk/governance frameworks
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
Experience with BI semantic models such as Power BI
Experience with master data management and API-based data sharing

Skills
