Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions in mainframe technologies
  • Write detailed technical specifications
  • Review code and QA test plans and test execution
  • Review and propose changes to technical design
  • Develop applications following technical design and specification documents
  • Maintain documentation for work requests, change requests, and defects
  • Create and maintain implementation plans and support release activities
  • Support applications for critical production issues
  • Act as subject matter expert and tech lead
  • Provide training to the team in domain and technology
  • Help reduce skill gaps in the team

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in mainframe technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance knowledge
  • Experience with RataBase
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Preferred

  • Project lead experience
