Conduct market research on search/vector databases and SOTA models
Evaluate competitive landscape and develop user personas
Align product strategy with business goals and prioritize features
Establish long-term product goals and milestones for vector use cases
Own vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for vector database and search
Partner with engineering and applied research on trade-offs
Define and defend metrics: recall, latency, index size, ingestion throughput, TCO
Advance competitiveness of AI and Vector products across deployments
Define unified strategy across embedding/reranking models and vector indexing
Manage operating cadence and align research, cloud, and engineering teams

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years in product management on technical infrastructure, databases, search, or ML/AI platforms
Working knowledge of vector search fundamentals: embeddings, ANN indexing, similarity metrics
Knowledge of hybrid retrieval
Working knowledge of generative models, model fine tuning, and document processing
Track record of shipping developer- or infrastructure-facing products at scale
