Job Summary
As a Product Manager Card Servicing in our Partner Servicing team, you lead discovery, definition, and delivery of products and shared services that improve end-to-end servicing experiences. You translate customer, partner, and internal user needs into clear requirements, help prioritize work, and coordinate delivery across product, design, engineering, and operations. You use research and performance measures to continuously improve what we build and how we build it. Depending on business needs and your strengths, you may focus on platform services or partner servicing.
Job responsibilities
- Define product strategy and vision to deliver measurable value for customers and partners.
- Lead discovery through user research, journey analysis, and market insights to identify problems worth solving.
- Translate needs into clear requirements and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to outcomes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, build, test, and launch enhancements and new capabilities.
- Establish success measures and track product performance across cost, speed, quality, reliability, and risk posture.
- Create and maintain documentation such as epics and user stories to support delivery and alignment.
- Coordinate milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans across impacted product and functional teams.
- Consider upstream and downstream impacts to support a cohesive end-to-end servicing experience.
- Define acceptance criteria and support test planning, including edge and negative scenarios.
- Communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Collaborate with partner program teams and external partners to deliver quarterly priorities and sprint-level work.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management or a related domain.
- Experience owning a product backlog and making prioritization decisions to deliver outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to ship product improvements and iterate based on results.
- Experience leading discovery and translating insights into requirements and a roadmap.
- Strong understanding of the product development life cycle from discovery through delivery and iteration.
- Experience with requirements definition and prioritization practices.
- Working knowledge of data literacy fundamentals and comfort using metrics to guide decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly and explain complex requirements to diverse audiences.
- Experience writing thorough test cases aligned to defined use cases, including edge and negative scenarios.
- Ability to create clear process maps showing end-to-end workflows and system interactions, with a solid technical foundation in modern software delivery concepts.
Preferred qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong requirements writing.
- Experience delivering platform products or shared services used by multiple teams or partner programs.
- Experience coordinating cross-team milestones and dependencies in a complex delivery environment.
