QA Engineer (Body Shop QA)

To monitor the daily CPP Body Shop QA operation.

• To design operation layout and manpower distribution.
• To measure CPP Body Shop production quality performance.
• To validate the new product quality level for CPP Body Shop.
• To analyze and report the 3D CMM result to related department.
• To coordinate overtime planning (if requested by production).
• To chair quality briefing related to CPP Body Shop with the related shop.
• Perform liaison activities with external service providers, contractors, franchise holders (Land Rover, Jinbei and Foton) on matters related to product quality issues, operations development, and implementation.
• Attend inter and intra department meetings and teleconferences conferences, meeting discussions related to quality issues
• Develop people with the required skill & knowledge to maximize performance. Implement company's policies and procedures.
• To involve line quality complaint and feedback to related department / section.
• Drive for Corrective and Preventive cross-functional follow-up actions on major issues pertaining to product/parts/material quality, customer complaints, through cross-functional initiatives.
• To monitor vehicle database for traceability purposes.
• To monitor manpower skills enhancement.
• To promote safety, kaizen and ICC activities for quality improvement.
• To report on the daily and monthly quality performance.
• To execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974)
• To carry out task as per requested by superior.

Inokom is involved in the assembly and manufacturing of light commercial vehicles as well as contract assembly. Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.The Company is owned by a consortium of corporate shareholders, which constitutes of Sime Darby Motors Sdn. Bhd., Sime Darby Hyundai Sdn Bhd, Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea , and Berjaya Auto Berhad.
