Job Summary

We are looking for a technically proficient SAP RE-FX Developer to design, develop, and support custom functionalities within the SAP Flexible Real Estate (RE-FX) module. The role supports ongoing implementation and optimization of leasing and real estate solutions aligned with global accounting standards such as IFRS 16. You will work closely with functional consultants and business users to ensure technical deliverables meet business and compliance objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in ABAP development for RE-FX, understands lease data structures, and can develop interfaces, enhancements, and reports in both ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom programs, enhancements, and reports within the SAP RE-FX module using ABAP and related technologies.
• Support data migration, interface development, and integration between RE-FX and other SAP modules (FI, CO, AA).
• Assist in interpreting functional specifications and translating them into scalable technical solutions.
• Create custom objects for lease contracts, valuation processes, and compliance reporting under IFRS 16.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams during blueprinting, testing, and go-live phases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to RE-FX workflows, user exits, and BADIs.
• Document all technical designs and changes in alignment with project and audit standards.
• Provide post-implementation support and enhancements based on end-user feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, including 12 years focused on RE-FX-specific objects and lease processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA platforms.
• Strong understanding of lease accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16) and their impact on SAP RE-FX.
• Proficiency in ABAP, including reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC).
• Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development and CDS Views is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional SAP implementation or support teams is preferred.
