Responsibilities

Architect and implement complex features with data-driven decision making
Work on multi-team technical initiatives and cross-functional requirements
Advance engineering processes and technical foundations
Identify patterns to streamline development and reduce toil
Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and code walkthroughs
Perform tech design and code reviews

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
Experience leading design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale payment systems
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in CS or equivalent experience
Technical leadership: leading project teams and setting technical direction
Proven experience defining product/technical strategy and driving alignment

Preferred

1+ years of relevant industry experience in Payments/Fintech as a backend software engineer
