Responsibilities

Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences for digital experiences
Run A/B tests and experiments to boost acquisition, retention, and conversion
Implement and improve features in the Discover Next.js frontend and Rails backend
Work on data pipelines and services driving search and recommendations
Proactively improve codebase, processes, and architecture
Collaborate with leaders and designers on feature design and UX

Requirements

5+ years full-stack engineering on complex web apps at scale (100k+ rpm, 100GB+ DBs)
Strong proficiency in Next.js, ReactJS, TypeScript, Tailwind, Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL
High degree of proficiency in frontend
Experience working on a fully distributed remote team
Proficient in English at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5

Preferred

Experience with creator-platforms, social content, video feeds, or marketplaces
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation in consumer-facing apps
Exposure to search, recommendation, and personalization at scale
Production experience with Next.js and hybrid React/Next.js systems for high-traffic apps
