Design, build, and implement software solutions to optimize and scale the Instacart platform
Develop highly scalable software and ensure protocols for rapid rollouts
Analyze and optimize expensive SQL queries
Enable data-driven features that adapt to customer shopping behavior
Lead strategic planning and execution of development projects
Implement high-quality solutions for engaging shopping experiences across web and mobile
Execute testing, performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of current systems

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
5 years of experience in the job offered or related
5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar programming languages
5 years of experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems
5 years of experience with API query technologies such as GraphQL
2 years of experience with machine learning model development and iteration
2 years of experience with client/server architectures and application architectures
2 years of experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams
