Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field plus 5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of backend development using Kotlin, Java, or another OO language
Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems with service-to-service APIs and event-driven architectures
Experience building scalable backend services processing business-critical or financial data in production
Experience contributing to decision engines that integrate with machine learning models
Experience writing production-quality code with automated testing, monitoring, and observability

Experience integrating with 3rd parties or handling large data sets
Experience with SQL, data warehouses, or other database technologies
Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications
