Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems that manage Cloudflare's infrastructure at scale
  • Expand and evolve automations for provisioning, expanding, repairing, and decommissioning servers
  • Contribute to an increasingly autonomous system that reduces manual effort
  • Collaborate with the team to understand business needs and develop technical solutions
  • Work closely with internal customers to understand their requirements
  • Integrate AI into workflow using LLMs and predictive analytics

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience on complex systems
  • Excellent proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust
  • Experience working with Linux systems
  • Basic networking knowledge (VLAN, Routing, DNS)
  • Experience building backend systems and frontend widgets
  • Ability to contribute to planning, development, and execution
  • Experience implementing tools, processes, and internal instrumentation

Preferred

  • Experience with DCIM, CMDB, IPAM, and other Data Center and Asset Lifecycle Management tools
