Responsibilities

Work with large scale back end systems to detect fraudsters using rules and machine learning models
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for fraud detection and mitigation
Build tooling and automation for operations to reduce fraud
Build user challenges to prevent fraudulent listings while reducing good user impact

Requirements

3+ years of industry experience building systems at scale
Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Scala
Ability to write high performance production quality code
Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications
Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders such as legal and operations

Preferred

Experience with the Trust and Risk domain
