Job Requirements for Azure Cloud Architect

• In Azure cloud, the Azure Cloud Architect will need to use Azure full calculator to provide cost analysis for web sites, virtual machines, storage, cloud services, data management, etc. and price comparison with AWS in same configuration
• Provide system logical view, network diagram with multi-tier architecture
• Provide design in VPN-VPN connection between Xerox data center and Azure cloud
• Be able to set up and operate Hadoop and Neo4j with related business models
• The architect can use own sample data from similar project(s) which he/she delivered to run Hadoop and Neo4j to demonstrate the proof of the concept and build relationship among objects and attributes
• Provide architecture using Vormetric encryption in cloud, and be able to set up and demonstrate the data/file encryption with better performance in Azure cloud
• Provide solution in patch management for OS, COTS, etc.
• Deliver above design and system configuration detail info to Xerox FGS Content Analytics Project Team with support documents and Q and A
• Working Knowledge of Linux.

Task # Description

2 Provide system logical view, network diagram with multi-tier architecture

3 Provide design in VPN-VPN connection between Xerox data center and Azure cloud

4 Set up and operate Hadoop and Neo4j with related business models

5 Use own sample data from similar project(s) which the architect delivered to run Hadoop and Neo4j to demonstrate the proof of the concept and build relationship among objects and attributes

6 Provide architecture using Vormetric encryption in cloud, and be able to set up and demonstrate the data/file encryption with better performance in Azure cloud

7 Provide solution in patch management for OS, COTS, etc.

8 Document task 1 through 7 all design, configuration, system setting, required support info in detail and deliver to Xerox FGS Content Analytics team
