Responsibilities

  • Create products and services to analyze information
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Build and maintain enterprise level web services
  • Build and maintain highly scalable asynchronous computing workloads
  • Build or maintain JSON-RPC APIs
  • Manage deployments with Kubernetes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Python development
  • Experience in another object oriented language such as Go, Java, or Ruby
  • Understanding of SQL databases
  • Familiarity with database operations
  • Understanding of web frameworks
  • Understanding of web server technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong Python development skills
  • Strong understanding of testing processes
  • Strong written communications skills

Preferred

  • Experience with Postgres or Greenplum databases
  • Experience in building and maintaining enterprise level web services
  • Experience in building and maintaining highly scalable asynchronous computing workloads using message queues
  • Experience in building or maintaining JSON-RPC APIs
  • Experience with RabbitMQ
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with SQLAlchemy
  • Experience with JupyterLab
  • Experience with Apache Superset
  • Experience with GitOps processes for managing deployments with Kubernetes
  • Experience working on large scale data analytics
  • Experience with Git
