Business Insights Specialist / Governance & Reporting Analyst
Fraud Technology / CIAM Governance
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our Governance, Analytics & Reporting team. This role is responsible for driving governance reporting, operational readiness, support handover processes, process improvement initiatives, executive dashboards, and automation opportunities across a complex technology environment.
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between technology delivery teams, support teams, governance functions, and senior leadership. The individual will leverage data-driven insights to improve operational effectiveness, strengthen governance practices, and support decision-making through meaningful reporting and analytics.
Key Accountabilities

Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive reporting.
- Analyze operational, governance, and support metrics to identify trends and insights.
- Create executive-level presentations and management reports.
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable business insights.
- Maintain reporting accuracy, data quality, and consistency.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to simplify and automate manual processes.
- Design and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Improve efficiency through controls, validations, notifications, and workflow optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across governance and operational functions.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with technology, support, project, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and governance reviews where applicable to reporting.
- Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes without direct authority.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Governance, Technology Operations, Reporting, Process Improvement, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a large enterprise technology environment.
- Proven experience supporting governance, operational readiness, or technology processes.
- Experience developing executive-level reporting and presentations.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Power BI development and dashboard creation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience with Power Automate and workflow automation.
- Experience working with data from multiple sources and performing data analysis.
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar enterprise platforms.
Governance & Controls
- Strong understanding of technology governance practices.
- Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, issue management, or control activities.
- Ability to document processes, procedures, and governance requirements.
- Understanding of operational risk and control environments.
Business & Leadership Skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Financial Services or a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of technology governance frameworks and audit practices.
- Experience supporting operational readiness, production support, or application lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of CIAM, Fraud Technology, Risk, Compliance, or Governance functions.
- Power BI certification.
- Experience using SQL for analysis and reporting.
