Product Manager, Surgical (UK & Ireland)

As a Product Manager, Surgical supporting the UK & Ireland Surgical Marketing Team, you will be trusted to lead portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and market preparation for next‑generation surgical technologies at UK & Ireland locations.

In this role, a typical day will include

• Collaborating with cross‑functional partners (Sales, Strategic Accounts, Medical, Regulatory) to solve market, customer, and competitive challenges
• Leading end‑to‑end portfolio and brand strategy, including insights, segmentation, targeting, funnel planning, and KPI definition
• Managing lifecycle, pricing, and promotional planning to drive year‑on‑year growth and ensure strong ROI
• Developing and executing 360° marketing campaigns, including messaging, creative assets, digital content, and performance marketing initiatives
• Using data analytics, CRM insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decisions, optimise performance, and identify new opportunities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Science, or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing and/or commercial roles, ideally within medical devices or ophthalmology
• Technical Skills:
• End‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution
• Strong analytical capability (incl. Google Analytics, CRM, Salesforce dashboards)
• Digital and performance marketing competency
• Experience collaborating with agencies and cross‑functional teams
• Behaviours:
• Strong business acumen
• Creativity and strategic thinking
• Relationship building and influencing without authority
• Results‑driven mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
• High customer presence and ability to engage Key Opinion Leaders
