About Bankdata

We are one of the most important tech companies in Denmark as we build critical financial software for millions of users. One in three Danes, 200,000 companies and thousands of bank employees use our solutions. They log into our platform a million times a day and send 86 million transactions through our core systems.

We build, monitor, and improve powerful products that are undeniably attractive and designed to empower both businesses and individuals to make confident financial decisions. Whether it’s small, everyday transfers or major life events. Buying a new home, planning for retirement or managing wealth – can all be challenging. The digital experience need not be so, however. That’s why we focus relentlessly on delivering best-in-class user interfaces, availability and response times. Financial infrastructure faces political scrutiny and constant attack from cybercriminals. Our customers' reputation sees red if our systems go black. Our business is therefore not for everyone. Neither we nor our customers can accept doing things half-heartedly – we always strive to deliver only the best software to the market. Therefore, we are on a never-ending journey to become the best engineering company possible. We approach software development with an engineering mindset, believing in automation, infrastructure as code, clean code, and domain-driven design, to name a few. We take ownership of the quality of our work, integrating testing throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the reliability of our software. In short, we love to code, and we love tough problems.
