About Stacklok

Stacklok enables you to trust and empower knowledge workers with AI agents that are connected to your sensitive systems and data. It is a self-hosted, Kubernetes native platform for AI agent governance. Stacklok offers the building blocks of agentic workflows (MCP servers, skills, environments, harnesses, etc), so your internal experts have the tools to create value, share with peers and accelerate adoption of AI.

Our Applied AI Engineers embed with your team from pilot to production to ensure you achieve your business objectives and use AI agents + knowledge workers as a competitive advantage. We believe in the power of community, and we want to ensure our customers are never locked in to a single model provider stack, so we build in the open. Our popular ToolHive MCP platform is Apache 2.0 licensed and is maintained by Stacklok and Red Hat along with a growing community of contributors. Stacklok is led by CEO, Craig McLuckie and CTO, Joe Beda, the co-creators of Kubernetes. The company includes maintainers of the official MCP registry. We are backed by Accel, Bain Capital Ventures and Madrona.
