About Material Bank

Material Bank is the world’s largest marketplace for searching, sampling, and specifying architecture, design, and construction materials. The service allows architects, interior designers, and corporate buyers to browse collections from over 450 European and global manufacturers.

Combining a powerful platform with efficient logistics, Material Bank allows approved members to order samples for free from more than 40 categories, including textiles, ceramics, paint, flooring, tiles, acoustics, and wallcoverings. Shipping to 29 European countries and the Middle East from the Material Bank logistics hub next to Paris-Charles De Gaulle Airport, they receive their chosen samples in one box the next day, saving design professionals valuable time. In addition to improving the speed of searching and sampling materials, Material Bank provides a sustainable solution by aggregating samples from multiple brands into a single box, and to date, has eliminated more than 6.5 million packages from being shipped in the US. Material Bank Europe is part of Material Bank, which launched in the US in 2019 and was named as one of Business Insider’s Hottest Proptech Startups and Forbes’ Best Startup Employers. In the US, Material Bank saw rapid adaption by the design community, with over 150,000 approved members using the platform, including users at more than 90% of the top 200 largest architectural and design firms and 20% of Fortune 1000 companies
