The Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling the robust backend systems that power Gigin.ai's innovative AI-driven hiring and reskilling platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to tackle complex engineering challenges, ensuring our infrastructure is high-performing, secure, and ready for rapid growth.

What You Will Do

• Architect and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Optimize system performance, latency, and reliability to support our growing user base.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate on features that improve the hiring experience for global organizations.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring initiatives within the engineering team.

What You Need to Bring

• 5–8 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven expertise in building distributed systems and scalable backend architectures.
• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and framework ecosystems suitable for high-scale applications.
• A deep understanding of database design, API security, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment.
