ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Network Engineer to maintain and improve secure, reliable enterprise network connectivity across global operations.

The mandatory requirements are 6+ years of enterprise LAN/WAN design and support experience, hands-on Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper equipment and software expertise, firewall, switching and wireless infrastructure, TCP/IP, routing, IPsec VPNs, network troubleshooting, segmentation, incident resolution, and upper-intermediate English. Server, storage and other IT platform experience is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design, implement and support enterprise LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot secure VPN connectivity, including IPsec tunnels, authentication, routing and firewall policies.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, packet loss and availability issues across network devices and connected environments.
  • Maintain network segmentation, access controls and secure traffic flows in coordination with security and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor network health and performance, investigate alerts and identify improvements to capacity, reliability and fault tolerance.
  • Serve as an escalation point for network incidents; coordinate troubleshooting with internal teams, vendors and service providers, and document root causes and corrective actions.
  • Plan and execute network changes and upgrades, including testing, impact assessment, rollback planning and post-change validation.
  • Manage the network device lifecycle, including vulnerability remediation, firmware upgrades, decommissioning and configuration documentation.
  • Collaborate with systems, application and engineering teams on network requirements, connectivity and infrastructure projects.
  • Maintain network diagrams, configuration records and troubleshooting procedures; share knowledge and mentor less senior staff.
  • Help define the enterprise network strategy and support connectivity for global operations, including remote users, manufacturing sites and offices.

MUST HAVES

  • 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco and Juniper network equipment and software.
  • Strong experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure in physical and virtual environments.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting, routing and switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and NAT.
  • Hands-on experience with IPsec VPNs, including tunnel establishment, authentication phases, pre-shared keys, routing and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose network issues using packet captures, device logs and connectivity tools such as ping and traceroute.
  • Experience implementing network segmentation, firewall rules and secure access controls, and assessing their impact on application connectivity.
  • Ability to lead network incident resolution, isolate faults across infrastructure layers and document findings and preventive improvements.
  • Self-sufficient and service-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver independently in a fast-growing environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical issues, provide timely updates and work effectively with stakeholders across teams and geographies.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and managed service providers to troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
  • A structured approach to projects, change execution, documentation and escalation.
  • Experience supporting a 24x7 international organization spanning the US and EMEA, with flexibility for work that must be completed outside business hours.
  • Experience working in a SOX-regulated company.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

  • AWS networking experience, including VPN gateways, route tables, VPC peering, subnet design and network security controls; familiarity with Azure networking.
  • Experience supporting SFTP and secure file transfer connectivity, including services such as AWS Transfer Family.
  • Familiarity with network and systems monitoring platforms and with network diagnostics in Linux environments.
  • Cisco or other networking certifications; AWS or Azure certifications.
  • Experience administering enterprise servers, storage, Microsoft Windows Server or Active Directory.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure compute and storage, disaster recovery, business continuity or patch deployment for servers and other IT systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • An associate degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience; familiarity with ITIL.
