Position Title

SENIOR JAVA AGENTIC ENGINEER

Position Summary

Must Have

• Java 21+, Spring Boot 3.x (Web, Data, Security) - build production APIs/services
• Spring AI or LangChain4j - agent orchestration in Spring apps
• Prompt design for LLMs - prompt templates, roles, constraints
• Coding assistants: GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q - daily development fluency
• Evals design and development
• LLM observability/monitoring tools (any): Langfuse, Arize, Weights & Biases, Datadog - traces, latency, token/cost, failures
• Agent architecture - tool calling, memory, planning, retries, guardrails
• RAG fundamentals - chunking, embeddings, vector DB, retrieval tuning
• LLM performance and cost optimization - caching, batching, model routing, prompt/token optimization
• AI model selection and evaluation - benchmark by quality, latency, cost, risk
• Cloud deployment for AI services (AWS/Azure/GCP) - scalable, secure runtime

Preferable

• CLI coding assistants: Copilot CLI, Claude Code - terminal-first workflows
• AI-driven software development - Spec-driven development (SDD)
• Agent protocols/tools: MCP, OpenAPI tool schemas - interoperable tool integration
