Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails to design, develop, and scale core business services and APIs.

The ideal candidate will have a solid backend engineering background, experience building robust and high-performance applications, and a strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. Familiarity with Java and Go (Golang) is a distinct advantage as the platform evolves toward multi-language distributed services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of core business services and backend APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Build robust, scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and support integrations with internal and external services.
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform toward distributed microservices architecture.
• Design and support scalable backend services and distributed systems.
• Integrate multi-language services and collaborate with teams working in Java and Go (Golang).
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and improve application scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions.
• Follow coding standards, engineering best practices, and established development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience developing and maintaining core business services and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance backend applications.
• Knowledge of API integration and service-to-service communication.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Java.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with Go (Golang).
• Experience working in multi-language service environments.
• Exposure to distributed microservices platforms and large-scale backend systems.
