Job Description: Windows Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Jersey City

Need senior profiles only who can score high on all four parameters.

• Windows Expertise & Automation
• Manage the deployment and lifecycle of third-party/vendor applications on Windows Servers, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and rollback.
• Package applications for VDI environments such as Citrix and VMware using MSI/MSIX and silent installation best practices.
• Develop advanced PowerShell scripts with modular design, logging, error handling, and remoting capabilities.
• Automate operational tasks to reduce manual effort and toil through scripting, orchestration, and repeatable runbooks.
• 2. CI/CD & Release Enablement
• Implement and support CI/CD automation using tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, and cloud deployment platforms.
• Enable safe release strategies, including blue-green deployments, canary releases, and automated rollbacks.
• Implement quality and security gates using tools such as SonarQube and security scanning solutions.
• Improve release reliability through standardized deployment processes and automation.
• 3. Observability & Monitoring
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and relevant cloud-native monitoring tools.
• Improve Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) through effective metrics, logs, traces, and service dashboards.
• Establish clear escalation paths and actionable alerts to support faster incident resolution.
• 4. Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Define and drive reliability objectives related to availability, latency, resilience, and recoverability.
• Establish and monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Reduce alert fatigue by tuning alerts and improving signal-to-noise ratios.
• Develop and maintain actionable runbooks to improve incident response and operational reliability
