Job Description

We are looking for an experienced API Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in API testing and automation, along with some knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing and executing automated API test cases and should be comfortable working in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute API automation test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end API testing.
• Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform data validation and verify API responses, status codes, headers, and payloads.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure application quality.
• Work with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) applications and APIs; basic to moderate AEM knowledge is preferred.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Software QA / Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with API Automation Testing.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency with Postman and/or Rest Assured.
• Experience with Java.
• Knowledge of Selenium or other UI automation tools is a plus.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of SQL/database validation.
