Junior Java Developer / Lead Java Engineer

Position Details

• Job Title: Junior Java Developer / Lead Java Engineer
• Location: New Jersey (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Arrangement: Local or nearby candidates preferred
• Salary:
• Java Developer: Up to $110,000 annually, including 10% QPLC
• Lead Java Engineer: Up to $130,000 annually, including 10% QPLC

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Experience with Apache Kafka and REST APIs
• Knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Apache Flink, Apache Iceberg, and PySpark
• Familiarity with JUnit, Maven/Gradle, ETL/ELT, and data pipelines
• Understanding of CI/CD, data streaming, and distributed systems

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java applications and data pipelines.
• Build real-time and batch data processing workflows.
• Develop and integrate secure, high-performance REST APIs.
• Optimize data processing and storage using Kafka, Flink, and Iceberg.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
