Job Description

The main focus of this role will be identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving performance issues in existing Java-based microservices. Therefore, strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture and, most importantly, performance optimization and troubleshooting is essential.

Candidates should also have a good understanding of both Java backend development and React frontend technologies, allowing them to understand how both layers interact and impact overall application performance.

Must-have

• Strong Java and React experience.
• Solid background in microservices and application performance optimization.
• Senior/Lead-level ownership and the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with profiling and observability tools (APM, distributed tracing), JVM tuning, and database/query optimization.
• Load and performance testing experience.
• Cloud-native/Kubernetes background.
• Retail, supply chain or pricing domain exposure.
• Experience in short, high-impact engagements where the first findings are expected within days.
