Introduction to the job

ASML produces lithography machines which make semiconductor manufacturing possible. These machines operate under extreme

conditions and require innovative new materials solutions.

Role and responsibilities

Drive high-throughput materials discovery campaigns for advanced materials using a combination of emerging AI methods for accelerated

DFT along with classical computational approaches. Own the prioritization of computational hits and oversee the experimental validation.

Work with product teams to incorporate leading candidates into new or existing product lines.

Education and experience

PhD in a computational science such as chemistry, materials or physics

Skills

Strong background in computational chemistry, python, AI/ML workflows along with knowledge of materials synthesis and characterization

techniques

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$129,188-189,475

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
