FRONTEND DEVELOPER – REACT, TYPESCRIPT, NGINX, DEVOPS & SECURE APIS

TORONTO, ON - HYBRID (4 DAYS WFO)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

UI Development

Design and build responsive, reusable components using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Architecture

Maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) with modern React patterns, Hooks, and Context API.

Server & Deployment

Configure and troubleshoot applications behind Nginx reverse proxies, load balancers, and caching layers.

Security & APIs

Integrate RESTful microservices and implement secure authentication via OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.

Quality Assurance

Write unit/integration tests (Jest, Cypress) and collaborate in Agile environments.

REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

5+ years in frontend development with strong TypeScript/React expertise.

DevOps/Tools

Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and SonarQube.

Preferred

Next.js knowledge, cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure), and experience in financial services or banking.
