Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer

Pay Rate Range

$ 74.00 - $ 78.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack software applications.
  • Deliver complex, high-performance web applications.
  • Build RESTful APIs and microservices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Java, particularly the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles.
