• Manage OSS software development projects from planning to implementation and closure, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Prepare and track project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and progress to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Evaluate software solutions and vendors through technical reviews and product demonstrations to select the right solutions for business needs.
• Ensure proper software testing before implementation, including regression testing and fixing application issues before launch.
• Manage OSS application support by working with Technology teams on servers, virtual machines, AI/LLM platforms, MCP integration, databases, operating systems, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure application availability and timely issue resolution by following ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management and meeting agreed SLAs/OLAs.
• Maintain OSS applications and services through regular maintenance, system updates, application integration, configuration, and capacity planning.
• Manage software vendors to ensure quality support, timely service, and delivery as per agreed requirements and SLAs.
• Improve reporting and monitoring systems by developing dashboards, automating reports, and setting alerts to identify system issues early.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance by following IT policies, change management processes, security standards, and audit requirements.

Academic Qualification

• BSc in Engineering, Electrical or Computer Science or related fields

Job Experience Required

• 3-4 Years of OSS Domain/IT Infra/SW Development experience.
• Knowledge on Unix OS, Databases, Zabbix, Grafana & telecom EMS

Required Capabilities

• Experience in OSS, Telco Element Management & Fulfillment Systems, Change Management, Trouble Ticketing
• Business-As-Usual (BAU) system support experience or working on large-scale software or IT projects
• Knowledge on IT & Telecom OSS, DSS and BSS architecture, Asset inventory Manage Engine tools
• Knowledge on Automations for RCA, Anomaly detection of IT-BSS & Telecom Service KPIs
• Working knowledge on Unix Operating systems, Kubernetes, Docker, Databases, SNMP, ODBC and Agentic monitoring
• Experience in AI/LLM use case readiness, MCP to BOT integration & relevant libraries
• Experience developing monitoring systems using open-source platforms like Zabbix, Prometheus
• Development and O&M on reporting insights using Grafana connecting multiple sources and APIs
• Regular vulnerability mitigations of platforms, security policy implementation, assessment and adaptation
• Strong Vendor management and negotiation skills in multiple domains for IT and Telecom domain
• Able to work independently and as a team, highly motivated and goal-oriented individual
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Possess good interpersonal and deep analytical skills
• Be resilient in pushing through system changes and gathering support to ensure prompt project delivery
