Product Manager, Senior A at Blackbaud. We’ll keep it in your applied jobs, so you can see it later and be warned before applying to the same employer twice.

About the role

As the world’s leading provider of AI-powered solutions for social impact, Blackbaud is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build the platform foundation for understanding how customers adopt and get value from our solutions. You’ll partner with Platform leadership and a dedicated engineering team to deliver shared capabilities that produce trustworthy usage and outcomes data, giving Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams clearer insight to improve adoption, engagement, and retention. Through strong product judgment, data-driven learning, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll help teams replace one-off approaches with scalable capabilities, expanding what’s possible for the purpose-driven people and organizations Blackbaud serves.

What you'll do

  • Own the backlog and product lifecycle for platform capabilities serving engineering and analytics teams, from discovery and validation through delivery and adoption.
  • Partner with engineering to build the standards, tools, and guidance product teams need to instrument solutions and publish trustworthy usage data to Blackbaud’s data platform.
  • Drive adoption of shared capabilities across the portfolio by understanding product and engineering teams’ needs, supporting onboarding, and helping teams retire one-off approaches.
  • Connect platform capabilities to meaningful outcomes by partnering with Customer Success and other internal consumers to understand how usage data can better support their needs.
  • Translate strategy, customer insight, data, and stakeholder input into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, documentation, assumptions, and decisions that keep work moving.
  • Define hypotheses and success measures, then use adoption, data quality, and feedback to test assumptions and continuously improve the capabilities you own.
  • Use AI tools and modern product practices to accelerate discovery, requirements definition, and delivery while proactively communicating progress, risks, decisions, and tradeoffs across distributed teams.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally including technical product management for internal platforms, developer tools, or data products.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering platform capabilities where engineering or analytics teams are the primary consumers.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Heap, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Pendo, including event taxonomy and instrumentation design.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and modern data platforms; experience with Databricks, medallion data modeling, or Azure data services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web application instrumentation and privacy and consent requirements related to analytics data.
  • Experience using agile development practices and tools such as Azure DevOps to deliver products across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience turning incomplete information into forward progress by establishing outcomes, testing assumptions with data and feedback, and working effectively across distributed teams and time zones.
